Mayborn Acres

Featuring Jamie Boley

On this episode Jamie Boley describes how Mayborn Acres came to be and why farming is his true calling.

Mayborn Acres can trace it's roots to when Jamie cut processed foods from his diet. The more real, local food he ate, the better he felt and the more energy he had. As time went on, others expressed interest and Jamie started providing the same ethically raised, nutritious, and delicious pastured poultry. Now he raises several batches a year.

The chicks are seasonal. Mayborn Acres runs limited batches during the summer when they can run the chicks outside in chicken tractors. This not only provides the benefits of being outside, but also helps to build the soil health.
